Applications have now closed for our September 2026 intake of Level 2 and Level 3 Animal Care or Management students.
Our summer 2026 EMS spots are now fully booked. We are currently accepting enquiries for Christmas 2026 and 2027 animal husbandry EMS placements (1 or 2 weeks).
Please note: We do not offer clinical placements.
Our placement programmes will provide you with a well-rounded insight into the life of our amazing Animal Care team.
You shadow our Animal Carers and support them in their animal husbandry duties: cleaning the kennels, cattery pods and animal exercise areas; washing up food and water bowls; helping to prepare feeds and enrichment activities and socialising our cats and dogs.
Feedback from a past student:
"I was surprised by the opportunities provided to me throughout the year, and I gained experience and skills in helping animals.I particularly enjoyed seeing cats' progression each visit and eventually seeing them leave for adoption as a rehabilitated, happy cat."
There are excellent local colleges offering animal care, management and behaviour studies. Start a course with them, and you could soon find yourself in a placement with our team!
